How to keep our Community Vibrant
Deed Restrictions in a Nutshell

Lawn Maintenance: Lawns need to be watered, mowed, and edged on a regular basis. Curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveways need to be swept and kept neat. Lawn clippings should not be blown or swept into drainage ditches.

Boats & Recreational Vehicles: Remember boats, trailers, or campers of any kind cannot be stored in public view (i.e. street, driveway, side/back yard). The MUD no longer has a storage facility for boats and trailers.

Properly Park Vehicles: Parking any type of vehicle including inoperable ones on a lawn is against the deed restrictions.

Screen Trash Container: Trash containers should be stored out of public view until trash day. You may put the container out on the evening before your trash pick up day.

Single Family Homes: All homes in Stone Creek Community are single family dwellings, no garage apartments or multiple families are allowed.

Animals: No animal or livestock/ poultry of any kind can be raised, bred or kept on any lot except dogs, cats or other common household pets and no more than two (2) of each animal may be kept. Remember to keep pets on a leash at all times when they are outside of your property and clean up after them.

Houston's Pooper Scooper Law -- Section 6-24 Defecation by dogs or cats Pet owners must remove all fecal material deposited by their pets on property they do not own.

*A person in control of a dog or cat must promptly remove and dispose of, in a sanitary manner, feces left by their dog or cat, when walking outside of your own yard with their pet.

*Each person in control of the dog or cat must have materials to remove feces left by their dog or cat when they are off their own property.

Violation of this section is punishable upon conviction by a fine of not less than $75 or more than $500. Each violation of this section is a separate offense.
